NEURALGIA DE ARNOLD
Authors propose prophylactic administration of naratriptan for those patients presenting with migrane or cluster headache attacks that can be foreseen both relative to time (cluster headache occurring in the same hour of the night or day) or life period (menstrual headache). They also suggest naratriptan use as starting treatment in those cases with frequent attacks (more than twice a day for cluster headache; more than twice a week for migrane) or chronic migrane. Forty-five patients were treated (Cluster headache = 8 / Menstrual migrane = 17 / Migrane with frequent attacks = 14 / Chronic migrane = 6). Most of them had very good results.
